February 7th, 2008We have a number of servers located at Managed Solutions Internet at Bowen Hills. For those that are interested, here are some of the reasons why we choose them:
- State of the art data centre with Cisco routers and switching with 100MB or Gigabit feeds to each rack
- Secure facility with CCTV cameras, access control with swipe cards and access PINs and monitored alarms.
- Multi-homed Internet connectivity via self-healing fibre
- Internet feeds from both Uecomm (Optus) and AAPT Connect
- Fibre connection to our backup rack at the AAPT third party room for true segregated data storage
- Direct connection to site offices over private ADSL services.
- Backup power with UPS and automated diesel generator rated for continuous running.
- Mains power from the same high priority grid as the Royal Brisbane Hospital
- Segregated dual power feeds to all racks
- Highest quality filtered air conditioning with backup air conditioning units – chilled air delivered direct to server cabinets
- Access flooring with segregated data and power cabling
